My name is Jeremy Miller, and I consider myself to be defined as a creative. As a result of my creative nature, I have become a lot of other things throughout my life and I have become somewhat of a serial entrepreneur. I spent six years on active duty in the United States Air Force, with a tour in the Middle East, and at the same time I began a career as a tattoo artist. I have now been a tattoo artist for nearly two decades, and I have owned threesuccessful tattoo studios and a tattoo removal clinic, as well as several other small businesses in various industries. In addition, I spent several years as a university professor, teaching business classes ranging from freshman level principles of management, all the way to the MBA capstone course. My daily work involves auditing organizations worldwide against management system standards, and through this I have gained an incredible understanding of the way successful business leaders manage their organizations. Combined with an MBA and a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, I have developed a skill set that allows me to understand the issues faced by small business owners and get to the core of how these leaders can improve their selves and their organizations. With this unique perspective, my primary goal is to help leaders become better leaders.
Hi, my name is Cori Miller. I grew up in Missouri and I have always had a passion for helping other people learn. I went to Missouri Southern State University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in elementary education, and later went on to achieve a certification in AMI Montessori. I relocated to Texas in 2011, where I began working directly in the classroom environment. I find that there are many similarities in early childhood learning and adult learning methods, and the skills that are taught in the Montessori environment translate seamlessly into modern leadership roles. In 2019 I adapted these skills into a role of Operations Manager at a small manufacturing organization, where I am still an active participant from a consultancy position. At Action Strategy I am responsible for operations and system development, as well as day-to-day management of all organizational processes. Through this role, I have the opportunity to leverage my skills as an organizer and blend them with my passion for helping people to grow and become their best selves.
My name is Bob Melvin, and I am originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. My career has been primarily centered around web development in the retail space, and I have been a critical driver in the seven-figure growth of numerous small businesses. In addition, I have built my own brand and clothing company from a mere idea into a significant force in dark parody style clothing and accessories focused on my love for Boston Terriers. I have worked with countless organizations to develop and integrate digital solutions for organizational improvement, including full scale development of user-based web platforms, online retail applications, and graphic arts projects. As the Director of Information and Technology at Action Strategy, I am responsible for ensuring a seamless digital experience for our clients, as well as providing insight for small businesses on digital and web-based solutions to everyday business needs.
My name is Mondo Rivera and I am originally from Los Angeles, California. The early stages of my work experienced were spent as a bartender, learning the importance of communication skills in small service businesses. This led to a seamless transition when I began working in sales for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. While this transition was successful, I quickly realized that the small business environment is where I thrive, and I began pursuing a new passion in laser aesthetics. Upon becoming a Certified Laser Trainer and Laser Safety Officer, I began working directly with patients to develop treatment protocol, as well as with manufacturers to perform equipment research and development. Through this, I have spent a significant amount of time working on the integration of laser systems within small businesses, as well as working on the sales of marketing of laser packages with medical equipment manufacturers. In addition, I am a certified ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor and have spent time with the development and implementation of quality management systems in small service industry organizations. As the Director of Business Development at Action Strategy, I work to bridge the gap between business leaders and coaches in an effort to drive business environment improvements in even the smallest of organizations.
My name is Braeden McClure, and I am the youngest member of the Action Strategy team. Though my experience in the business world is limited, I consider myself to be a dedicated leader to creative thought. While still in high school, I began to recognize an interest in the world of small business start-ups, and I have spent a substantial amount of time exploring the different facets of small business leadership. This has given me an in-depth understanding of research practices, operational planning and control methods, and even a financial acumen I never thought possible at this age. Through involvement with small business leaders and my experience in school, I developed a passion for marketing. This passion was proudly displayed at the 2021/2022 DECA competition for marketing, where I placed first at the state level for Missouri, and then went on to be recognized as the top 25% at the international level. I am currently a marketing and supply chain management student at the University of Nebraska. As an active team member for Action Strategy, I am responsible for the social media presence of the organization and connecting our team with like-minded individuals and businesses across the world.
